Maia’s Muddy Nap

With Lady happily in Yard 4, Maia and Rana have been checking out the yards closer to the barn. They usually don’t spend much time there (even when they have access). Now that Lady mostly uses those yards, they have renewed interest in that space. With Yards 1, 2, & 3 open, Maia decided to spend some time in Lady’s favorite mud wallow.

In typical Maia style, after playing for a little bit, there was only one thing left to do – nap.

As you can see, she is coated in mud and drifting in and out of her sleepy time as she “periscopes” at Scott filming her. After our last video of Muddy Maia, some of you wondered how she could possibly get so muddy – well, this is one way to do it.

    It’s so cute how much they enjoy something as simple as mud after only knowing concrete for years

    She looks so at peace and content.
    At what point do you think you will be able to leave all the yards open for all 3 girls at the same time?

      She is definitely not comfortable around the other girls yet. She has a very deep-rooted fear that will take a long time to work through.

    Yes! Thats maia!?very muddy! Lying down napping! ?very very relaxed! So maia what did undo all night in the jungle that u r so tired ur lying down napping in the day⁉️⁉️?

    She looks so content, so relaxed. The birds singing around her, the sun shining…..and covered in mud! What more could a girl want!

    the BEST photo, she is so luvly jubbly! It looks as if the temperature is warming up ? Not sure of when your seasons are or what they are though!
