We had a long, steady, soaking of a rain last night that lasted most of the evening. And this morning Rana and Maia looked very tired. While Guida was still a bit zooming and all sorts of spunky. The girls were all close to each other this morning and spent the majority of the day together.
Maia and Rana spent some time together initially. After Maia walked away, Guida came over with a head of steam, but when she arrived by Rana’s side, she shifted into her mellow self. Shortly after that, all three girls had a standing nap party under one of their favorite trees. It seems the rain was not only good for the streams and the plant life but also to create sweet moments with our ladies.

February 16, 2019 at 3:40 amIt’s lovely to hear the interrelationship of our three lovely ladies continuing to flourish.
Isn’t it fascinating how rain, and water in general, seems to bond elephants together emotionally!
