Pelusa update from Suz-
“Something that I knew before coming to Argentina is that Pelusa’s health was bad; and was very cyclical – she has good days and bad days and I was strongly warned that it might take a toll on me emotionally. So, even when she has her good days, I need to keep my expectations realistic, because there’s no miracle cure when you’re this sick…
but, y’all, she has more good days than bad days right now and I swear her good days are getting better every time and the past two days, she has been positively glowing, and this afternoon, she was literally glowing too… it made my heart sing. She’s just… really beautiful and really wonderful in a way I just can’t explain. I’m so grateful to be here, to be of service to her, and ultimately to witness her journey.”
And I’m sure you can all see why we chose Suz to take care of an elephant so in need.

May 29, 2018 at 1:40 amSuch wonderful news… so grateful for Suz and her willingness to put herself in “emotional harms way” to care for Pelusa. It is obviously paying off in a huge way! Prayers for Pelusa and Suz and I wish the paperwork would hurry up!!
