With everything that has gone on for the past two weeks, we haven’t talked much about Maia and Guida’s excursions into their new area. They seem to absolutely love the new area, and seem more content to stay there than they have with the other new spaces.
They have been much closer in this space as well. Often we will see them side by side from the top of the hill or on our way down. Both girls are super smiley, Guida is a total rumble bug and Maia is even leaving many of the palms be (for now ). This morning they were not at the barn and there was no sign that they had been at any point. They had breakfast delivered in the new area, next to one of the stream crossings that they have turned into a mud spa/wading pool.
It’s truly lovely. Just when they seem to have plateaued in where they are emotionally, they show you there is still plenty of room to grow. We will share more photos and talk about their increased communication and where they choose to cross the other creek in future posts. There’s a lot of joy to share and we’re happy to do so.
