Day Two: Sunrise With Kenya

As the sun rose, the team was already back on the road. Scott shared an update on how the night went. Kenya was a little unsettled—understandable given her sensitive nature. The morning is chilly, and the journey continues.

Safe journey Kenya… be calm and trusting – you won’t believe the happiness that is in store for you!!
Once Kenya is safely at sanctuary what is next? She is the last elephant on the waiting list and was the last one in Argentina…. would the sanctuary bring in elephants from other countries that need freedom or are there more in Brazil?

We are open to accepting any elephant from anywhere in South America. And we’re always in conversation with organizations to inquire about or research elephants with potential for transfer.

This is so exciting to watch, she will have an amazing, hopefully long life at the wonderful sanctuary. I wonder what Pupy will think when they meet. Thank you for all the updates, you are all a wonderful bunch of people doing so much for these elephants.
