Yesterday, the “Powerpuff Girls,” Maia, and Guillermina had access to Yard 3 near the barn. Maia was the one who primarily took advantage of that opportunity, enjoying the shade of the large copaiba tree for a standing nap. Around dinner time, Guillermina seemed to be looking for Maia and was checking her surroundings for her. Guille seemed surprised that the gate to Yard 3 was open, but didn’t head inside.
As Maia headed out of the smaller yard and into the larger one, Guillermina found her and the two of them had a very sweet moment. Guille reached her trunk out and touched Maia, while Maia did so in return, albeit briefly. Because it was time to eat, the two headed toward the caregivers in Yard 4 to receive their snacks. It was a very short, but lovely moment between the two. It reflects how their relationship is growing and how much they seem to genuinely care for each other.
