We have rain!!
Those of you who followed along during the fires last month know that we have been hoping for rain. There have been days where we would get literally 10 drops, sometimes thunder and lightening, but no real rain. Last night we had our first real storm.
Not only is it good news in regards to the fire (that last we knew were still burning to the East), but it signals the end of the dry season. With the little bit we already received, things have started to green up. Because of the shorter dry season and the diversity of flora, Maia and Guida have plenty to eat, but both will enjoy the young fresh grass that is just around the corner.
