Year-End Elephant Countdown Calendar

Since we had so much fun last year, we have decided to once again count down the days until the new year with a special elephant countdown calendar. Each day you can click on the square for the date (or any prior day) and see some of your favorite photos and videos of the year or test your elephant knowledge with a quiz. Don’t try to skip ahead and spoil the fun (it won’t work)!

    This is so wonderful, thank you. It was bittersweet to rewatch the video of the first time Pocha and Guillermina found the pond, but I found great enjoyment in imagining how good it felt to Pocha to relax into the water, to feel her body in life-affirming ways. Hopefully she was able let go of some of the stresses she was carrying on so many levels, some that we didn’t even know about at the time …

      just tested it on mobile and laptop (2 different browsers) and it’s showing up each time. 🤷‍♀️

    Wonderful, thank you!! I just watched day 2, started by laughing at Guille bringing a huge mouthful of hay with her as she set off with her mama, and promptly dropping it in the pond as play time in The pond seems way more exciting, and seeing again what a delightful mother Pocha was, so very attentive gently showing her daughter everything and giving her confidence. Missing her..= ( so glad you’ve included her in the countdown.

      you should just have to click on this link https://globalelephants.org/countdownwithelephants/ and then click on the door with that day’s date. you will be able to open the ones from the day before as well, but not those for future dates.

    Que lindo trabajo..lo pude ver..voy disfrutando cada día..pero el vídeo de Mí Pocha y Guille en el agua..por Dios…que angustia..no pude terminar de verlas.
