Today’s Facebook Live – Video of Bambi, Mara, and Rana

For those who are not on social media, we wanted to share the Scott’s video of Bambi, Mara, and Rana, shot live from Yard 4, near the Yard 4B water trough. As you can see, Mara is doing much better. Her health issue does seem to be chronic, but she is eating, drinking, and looking very happy with her friends.

When they are along the fence, it is (left to right) Bambi, Mara, and Rana. Mateus is the caregiver feeding dinner, and the sweet dog is Minnie.

We just wanted to show everyone that Mara is quite happy and looking well. She’s a little skinny, but she is back to her demanding, cheeky, and fabulous self.

There are some connection issues throughout, and we apologize – our reception is very limited in the habitat. We are just very grateful it was working at all today!

It’s always nice to see our girls at ease and in their natural state. Scott answers some questions. Enjoy!

Two butts, one side, and a rambling Scott! What more could a person want?!

Thank you for the fantastic video and post! So beautiful. Watching along, lucky enough to have Scott chatting with us (love the ramble – we benefit! ?) But just watching these beautiful Girls, with the sounds of Sanctuary all around, it was everything. Thank you. I thought that RanaBug might actually let out a little chuckle watching her adorable grinning cheeky face! So expressive! The opportunity to spend time at Sanctuary this way is special and I am grateful. I can get caught in the sadness of what they have endured and need to focus on celebrating the way they choose to live now. And can I just say that watching Elephant butts is a great stress reliever ?. Love and higs ❤️?❤️

ya’ll have talked about Mara’s weight decreasing….and Rana’s increasing as a result of her “sharing” food! But wondering about Bambi? I know she was underweight when she arrived at sanctuary. She looks really healthy and happy, but wondering about your “official” assessment?
