The Powerpuff Girls Celebrate the Sunshine

As we mentioned earlier, we had a short cold snap here in Mato Grosso a few days ago. They don’t happen often and, when they do, the temperatures stay around the low 50s Fahrenheit (or the low teens Celsius). The elephants fare well during these brief intervals, but they also love soaking up the sunshine afterward. 

This video was taken the first morning that the sun was actually shining, breaking through the clouds as they dissipated. Once the sky cleared, it turned into a lovely day and the Powerpuff Girls decided to celebrate having some sunshine on their bodies by making some rumbles and squeaks. You can see that they are enjoying the weather – and each other’s company.

    I agree with the others, I could listen to this for hours. Such joy and I love when they get physically close to each other as well! Thank you for sharing these precious moments!! Love and Hugs ❤️🐘❤️

    Yes the Ladies were likely saying THANK GOD. WE’VE BEEN CHILLY. NO BLANKETS. THEY LIKEU LAY IN A BUSH ON LONG GRASS SO THEY R OK.🤣😄🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘💞💞💞

    In general, can you recognize their voices without seeing who’s making the sounds? Like I can discern which of my dogs is barking without looking?

      Yes. They have distinct sounds.
