Sunday Smile: Rana’s Flapping Ears

This Sunday, we’re hoping you smile at the sight of muddy Rana enjoying some breakfast by the fence. Her mood seems light, which is reflected in the enthusiastic flaps she is making with her ears. We’re all used to seeing Guille and Maia’s furry heads, but in the sunlight you can see that Rana is part of the fuzzy-headed-girls club, too (though to a lesser extent). When our caregivers greet the morning with such a cheerful sight as this, it makes the rest of the day seem lighter.

I bet elephants have an ear language. Different types of flaps mean different things. Plus it must be partly to shake off the bugs, flies, etc.
