Sunday Smile: Maia’s Lazy Drink

March 31, 2024

For this week’s Sunday Smile, we’re showing you Maia’s laziest possible version of a bath. When you see an elephant’s trunk above the top bar of the fence it can mean lots of things; in this case it shows Maia being extra lethargic. She seems to be saying that her head is so heavy that she must absolutely lean on something while someone else does the work.

When she’s thirsty, she just opens her mouth and that’s your cue to squirt water inside. Maia is generally the only elephant here who shows this degree of laziness when it comes to bathtime. But that’s part of what makes her so special; everyone knows that Maia and water go hand in hand.

Love it! Maia and the girls deserve every bath they get. I’d be tired too if I had to carry around all that bulk!

I absolutely know she is in heaven!!! I get it Maia. On a hot day, as soon as I hose myself with cool water, I can carry on!
Cold water is truly heaven on earth!
