There’s something calming about the sight of an elephant relaxing in the rain. This week’s Sunday Smile reflects that as it catches Bambi standing in a soft shower, grazing on the still-green grass. Unlike Maia, who doesn’t seem to care if she pulls up lots of dirty roots with her grass, Bambi is a little more delicate in how she picks her trunkfuls. There might still be a few roots attached, but each blade has been picked more carefully (and is cleaner) than those of her companion. Regardless of how each elephant eats their greenery, the end result is the same: a nice, big, tasty bite.
