We constantly count ourselves lucky to have a space like Elephant Sanctuary Brazil to offer the elephants–and to enjoy ourselves. For your “smile” this Sunday, we’re offering a look at the brilliant sanctuary sunset: a sky full of blues, purples, pinks, and oranges. Contrasting the technicolor sky is the dark green of the trees below, shaded from the setting sun. At this hour, there’s probably only about 5-10 minutes left of light, before the dark sanctuary sky reveals itself and its wide canopy of stars.

      They do see color, but their range of color is about what a color blind person would see.
