A few days ago, Rana was heading toward the barn on what we call “Creeky Alley,” which is a dirt road that runs parallel to the creek on the south side. Both Mara and Bambi were headed from the barn towards the Creeky Alley gate at the same time. It was dinner time and we hadn’t been able to locate Rana until she popped up at that moment, with her usual smiling face.
Upon spying her friends, Rana immediately wanted to stop and say hello before meeting them for dinner. She made some soft rumbles to say hello, and some very excited ear flaps; Rana was delighted to give Bambi and Mara a warm welcome. Once the two girls saw Rana, there was tons of ear flapping on their part, followed by a baby trumpet from Rana. This caused Mara and Bambi to start their own vocalization party – and all three of them had a nice, loud reunion before their evening meal.
In this video, the three have been reunited and are on the same side of the fence in Yard 4.
