Cleaning Lady’s Feet In a Surprising Way

In the process of caring for Lady’s feet, we’ve done a lot of research on the best ways to irrigate the grooves on the bottoms and have read about the benefits of oral irrigators. We are mindful of the fluids and pressure settings we use because, like everything, there is a balance to ensuring you are functioning in a proper way for her condition.

If you’ve ever used some form of oral irrigator yourself, you know it makes noise and can spray everywhere if you aren’t careful. We were curious as to what Lady would think about it, but she seems to like it. To protect and soothe her feet, we use clays and putties daily, which get into the intricate crevices of her foot pads, so using the irrigator cleans better than an ordinary scrub or a foot soak. Unless you want a nice bath yourself, you need to be strategic about where you place it and how it’s angled, but we’re quite satisfied at how well it works and Lady also seems pleased, too.

It seems Lady is moving around the sanctuary more these days. I know her feet will always be a concern, but have they improved? This new irrigation system sounds wonderful, and hopefully she will continue to tolerate it. Seems it would have to help circulation and general cleaning of tissue. Thank you GSE.

what a good idea, and she tolerates it too. I guess if its a sensitive time and the spray is painful she can always revert to the foot soak. very good luck with it for her.
