Can You Find Guille?

September 28, 2024

You might think that, considering their size, it might be difficult for an elephant to hide. Well, Guillermina is here to tell you that it’s absolutely possible. These photos were taken a mere few seconds from one another, and moving a little closer to the back side of the bush. In the first, you see nice, green brush, while in the second you see a surprise Guille! We don’t think she was necessarily trying to be sneaky (and we did know where she was), but she certainly picked a surprising moment to show herself.

Yes, she was a “big dark shadow” in the first picture. Elephant hide and seek. I like it!

Hmmmmmm…… wonder just what Guille is really up to? This is testament to sanctuary life. The girls making their own decisions of where they want to go, what they want to do. ❤️🐘

If I stare at the first photo with my eyes out of focus, I can kind of imagine that I can sort of see her! hee, hee! Elephants are so much fun to watch, even from thousands of miles away!
