Happy Tails to You

All five of the elephants at the sanctuary have been seemingly celebrating life in general lately. Rana and Mara appear delighted with each other’s company and you can hear them vocalizing from all the way up the hill. Maia, Bambi, and Guillermina are having similar festive gatherings throughout the day. 

In this video, Maia and Bambi have been eating breakfast along the fence line, which meant they were standing separately for just a matter of minutes. After they were finished, there was much ado about their reunion, which you can see by their excited tails sticking straight out. Maia trumpets and makes raspberries, and Bambi makes some of her signature rumbles. There will undoubtedly be more affectionate observances of everyday life during the afternoon and evening. We can’t wait to hear more.

      I think you might be referring to Rana? She is the oldest gal. She and Mara are having constant parties these days.
