In this quick vignette for the Sunday Smile, Mara and Bambi are standing near the fence after breakfast. They’d been spending time with Guillermina, who had stopped to pick up a snack that had been left on the ground. After Scott asks, “Where’s Guillermina?” Guille squeezes her way into the group for a closeup. She’s a little exuberant, so Scott backs up a little bit to give her some space. The three elephants enjoyed the morning together, before Maia and Bambi went about their day and Guillermina went traipsing off to find the next adventure.

Help take extra special care of an elephant that is close to your heart.

May 29, 2024 at 9:00 amBeautiful girls, I love when they get all up close & personal & socialize with you. It’s really heartwarming.
I’m sure they’re still grieving for Lady, and this gives them the strength they need, together.
