We’ve nearly reached the end of the year and we’d like to thank you for being an essential part of our success here at Global Sanctuary for Elephants. There’s a lot of excitement about elephants to come, but your support has also made a huge impact on the elephants here at the sanctuary. Your gifts make so many things possible. With your help, we provided:

70,200 kg of produce for a balanced diet and 62,000 kg of hay for grazing, essential nutrients, and the occasional hat

472 foot treatments to heal feet damaged by decades of captivity

17,408 hours of devoted caregiver and veterinary support to ensure their health and well-being

All of this in addition to the vast space that sanctuary offers, the companionship that helps them heal from decades of abuse and neglect, and the ability to make their own decisions about their lives. None of this would be possible without your dedication and support.

Kenya and Pupy will soon join our de facto herd here at Elephant Sanctuary Brazil. Their lives can begin anew when they reach the expansive grounds that have been prepared for them by a dedicated team of workers who are invested in making sure their futures are filled with all the things they need.
