Sunday Smile: A Peaceful Bambi and Maia

April 21, 2024

There are some days when the internet isn’t a happy place to be. Sometimes it seems like there’s only bad news or angry words. For this week’s Sunday Smile, we want to cleanse your timeline with a quick, peaceful moment that will hopefully allow you to take a deep, healing breath. Here, Bambi and Maia eat together – silently, with only the sound of chewing and ears flapping. The outside world awaits us all, but we invite you to take a moment and be still, knowing that happiness is out there if we look for it.

Watching these elephants enjoying the peace and quiet of a Sunday afternoon is balm to my soul as is watching any nonhuman behaving according to their nature. I’m so happy you have brought them to this place.

Que imágenes mas hermosas de esos dos preciosos elefantitos. Que hermoso ver que por fin pueden vivir en paz y esa misma paz es la que irradian.

Watching this, I’m left to wonder if they are “talking” to each other as each grazes on the tall grass.
