Your Outpouring of Love and Support for Lady during The Big Payback was Overwhelming! Thank you!

Thank you so, so much to everyone who liked, shared, commented, and donated to the Big Payback. It’s been a busy 24-hours on our end, and we are overwhelmed with gratitude. You have shown us that, even in difficult times, our sanctuary family stands together however they can. ❤️

The outpouring of love and support we received yesterday was overwhelming. We feel incredibly touched and honored to have you on our team.

• Our donation total during the Big Payback is $72,811 for Lady and her feet.

• While all prizes have not been announced yet, our current prize total is slightly over $6,600 (which includes the $5,000 for The Most Unique Donors prize, which many of you worked so hard to help us win!) and there is a potential for more to be announced today.

• That makes our current total, including prizes, at $79,477.

Our hearts are full, and Lady’s stomach will be full of treats shortly.

For those who donated anonymously, please note that we do not receive your information from the Big Payback, so we will not be able to thank you individually.

Overall, during the 24-hours of the Big Payback, 32,000 donations were made to over 988 organizations, raising more than 4.2 million dollars. This is an incredible response that demonstrates the true heart of our society.

Thank you again to everyone. You are the best part of our sanctuary family. ❤️

Scott and Kat Blais, you’ve enabled us all to really get to know this magnificent elephant ? called Lady bit by bit, more and more. I for one, am deeply touched at her character and strength and humour. Yesterday’s outcome was overwhelmingly emotional..?❤️?❤️?

I really appreciate the chance to help the Ellies in any small way! Am I seeing things or was the GSE in the top 5 in the Middle Tennessee Big Payback? That’s exciting! As I’ve said before good attracts good, so there could be no other outcome!

This achievement is also down to you, Kat and Scott. You allow us in to the elephants’ world, their characters and daily progress. We feel so much a part of all you do for these wonderful creatures who deserve a better life….one where they can be who they were born to be. They can live out their lives doing what they want to do. We are all part of Lady’s steps of hope and of Maia and Rana and all ellies who will one day join this sanctuary family.
The least I can do is to walk some of those steps with them!
