Updated Female Asian Habitat Map

Many of you have asked for an updated map of the female Asian habitat that you can use to follow along as we tell stories of where the elephants spend their days. We know that maps can better help you visualize where Lady might be wandering in Yard 5, or the spot near Lollipop Tree where some of the girls often graze. Weโ€™ve made some adjustments to our older map, which include the final resting place of Pocha. Feel free to save this map on your computer or phone for future reference, and we hope it helps!

Thanks for the map – now on my computer for future reference. Amazing that the Itchy Scratchy Tree is still surviving.

Regarding the resting places of Guida, Ramba and Pocha – is there a reason why they were not laid to rest close to each other – or do their spots have a special significance each of them?

They generally were laid to rest near spots where they enjoyed spending time.

The female African habitat has been completed for some time. The male barn and chutes are done and fencing is still being worked on. Everything can be found on our Current Progress page.
