A few weeks ago, we wrote about Rana having a sore ankle. Our radiograph images didn’t show much in the way of acute injury, but suggested that it was a soft tissue issue, similar to a sprain or strain. Happily, the swelling on Rana’s ankle has greatly reduced. We are still treating it, but she’s not sensitive to having it touched anymore.
We’ll continue checking up on her ankle. At the moment, we are giving her topical liniments and low-dose pain medication to make sure she’s as comfortable as an older lady can be and she’s on low-dose pain medication. But, we’re happy to say that she’s not showing any indication that it’s bothering her.
