Oh, thank you for letting us get to know Rana up close! Despite the technical difficulties, which didn’t end up very bad on this end, one of my favorite elephants videos of all time. I can hear Rana’s flapping ears even after the video has ended. Thank you so much!

That’s part of the charm listening to you be surprised every time it goes awry hahaha. Do all the Elephants hear you say “How Cute” each one is …..thinking “hey ..he said that to me !!” Never change …..haha

Scott, this is the best part of my day! I really appreciate your thoughtful blog postings and videos.
Maia, Rana and Lady are an example of resilience and courage..two qualities I am trying to nurture to cope with during
this pandemic. Also, THANK YOU for all you are doing. I check in every day!

she likes your company!!! such a gentle feel about her,I’ve reconsidered my elephant behaviour, their night life and day life and how it makes better sense to socialise and walk and do whatever they do when its cooler and sleepy in the warmth of the day. fascinating, they are not classed as nocturnal and yet they are so active in the night
