Uncertain Guille Blocks the Annex

On a recent morning, after breakfast and treatments were done, Maia, Rana, and Mara were all in the annex in Yard 4 grazing. Guillermina kept debating if she was going to build confidence to enter the annex for the first time, so she was blocking the only exit. Mara was showing interest in leaving the annex but, because Guille was there, she was hesitant to try and walk out. Bambi was nearby and, after a few minutes, she walked over and gently nudged Guille out of the way so that the exit was clear for Mara. Mara chose to stay inside after all, but it was another example of how Bambi is trying to teach Guille proper herd etiquette.

    Bravo. Bambi, Guillie can be a bit domination and bossy, she was doing so well and recently has pushed Rana, blocking annex. So I guess Bambi sad. NOT COOL GUILLIE. PUSHED HER ABIT. SO MARA COULD GO. WELL DEAR GUILLIE. U HAVE TO BE MORE AWARE OF WHAT UR DOING TO UR LADY HERD.

    Bless them. I’m so glad they’re helping Guille learn about herd life. She’s still the “child” of the group and can still use their guidance.

    Dear Bambi, sensitive soul and thoughtful. She would know what it feels like to be bossed around and has the confidence now, with the love of the herd, to correct that behaviour in another ele, for the good of all ❤️ What a great team they are

      He is still in need of training before he can be transported to sanctuary.

    Bambi is really filling a vital surrogate Mom/friend position for Guille who is still learning. Way to go Bambi!

    Her nails look so pretty! They would look great in a shade of pink fit for Barbie! Ok, just kidding – got Barbie on the mind as that’s all we hear about these days. Glad Guille has Bambi for her kind and patient surrogate momma. ❤️
