The other morning, our lovely ladies decided to spend some quality time together in the mud wallow. It was shortly after breakfast, all of them were nice and sleepy, and spent some time, side by side. There was touching between them, mostly between Maia and Rana, but all gentle and positive.
After their little session, Maia and Guida walked off into the fifth yard and Rana stayed at her tree to take a short nap. We are seeing more of these interactions, that last longer and have little or no displays of dominance. The three are far from being best friends at this point, but they all continue to work on their relationships with each other.
