Sunday Smile: Sally’s Snack

Our goats, Sally and Jeorgie, are – true to their nature – big climbers. We’ve found them on top of the 4-wheelers plenty of times (which is why the seats are torn), and even on top of our truck’s hood. On this afternoon, Sally discovered that there was a small amount of hay left on the 4-wheeler after dinnertime with the elephants. She took the opportunity to help herself to a snack, posing in her own charming way.

P.S.: We know many of you have heard, and some are upset by AmazonSmile closing down its charity program. The closure will have an impact on many small charities like ourselves, where every dollar makes a difference. If you would like to continue to support the girls at ESB while shopping, you can join iGive at Over 2000 stores participate to donate 3% of your shopping total (vs Amazon’s 0.5%) to your chosen charity. We have been members for over 5 years. It’s an easy replacement for supporting the sanctuary while you shop online.

I just joined iGive. I had been to a store to look for an item. When I joined iGive the same item was 1/3 less expensive. Another plus besides supporting GSE

Yes, I was extremely disappointed that Amazon is dropping their charity donations program! It always made me happy to know GSE was part of the program. I will check out iGive.

Goats have such character! Sorry about the seats though! Amazon are a waste of space, never have used them never will, this doesn’t surprise me at all. Did you know that PayPal also have a donation programme/option?

I’m not as familiar with the Paypal option. Maybe that’s something to look into. Thanks.
