It’s often said that dogs are excellent judges of character – and from what we know about Ingo, that seems to be the case with him as well. So, of course it makes sense that he would get on well with all of the animals (elephant and otherwise) here at the sanctuary. All three in this picture are clearly smiling – so it’s a perfect way to share this week’s Sunday Smile.

February 27, 2022 at 5:14 pmShouldn’t Ingo be in Argentina “honoring the process” and NOT preparing to move Kenya to the sanctuary?

February 27, 2022 at 5:23 pmI’m not sure what you’re asking, but it sounds like there’s something you’re not understanding fully. Ingo is at the sanctuary in Brazil learning how things work here, meeting the staff, and working with the elephants here to build up a relationship with them since, hopefully, he will be spending many years here. The staff in Mendoza is working on preparing the elephants there for transport, and it’s Pocha and Guillermina that will be the first transports- Kenya will come after that. Also I’m not sure what you are referring to when you say ‘honoring the process’ in quotes, but feel free to elaborate so we can help you understand why we do things the way we do.

February 28, 2022 at 6:03 amWhat a heartwarming picture it really shows how much love there is at the Sanctuary. I truly believe dogs especially have that keen sense to know and trust certain people and bless Ingos heart he has received the full seal of approval from Bugsy Molly and all the other lucky residents there! Thank you Ingo for becoming part of this amazing rewarding Sanctuary family you are welcomed with open arms and paws 👏💞🙏
