This week, we opened up the Asian male habitat to Lady so that she could explore and enjoy the luscious grass and trees growing throughout. Because it was a new place for her, we encouraged her to move into the fresh, green space with a slice of everyone’s favorite: watermelon. She took the fruit right away and then made her way into the new habitat, where she’s been for several days now, munching away on the tall grass and palms until she gets drowsy. We caught the brief moment of her crunching down on the melon – an enjoyable sight and sound for everyone’s Sunday Smile.

February 26, 2023 at 7:42 pmHave you ever thought about cutting the watermelon pieces smaller so they don’t squeeze out the juice and some of the good parts in the middle?
