SURPRISE! Scott is coming to us live from Mendoza this morning as preparations are underway to begin the transport of Pocha and Guillermina to Elephant Sanctuary Brazil.
This is an exciting week for many reasons – we are thrilled that Scott is with the girls in Mendoza and that we will be participating in The Big Payback tomorrow! Our biggest fundraiser of the year starts at 6 pm central on Wednesday, May 4, and will run for 24 hours.

May 3, 2022 at 12:15 pmThe two spaces are separate and he will be moved to Pocha and Guillermina’s enclosure. It is safer to begin training in that area that from his current space.

May 4, 2022 at 7:53 pmI stopped breathing seeing Scott in Mendoza next to the girls! That was so so fast! Seeing that enclosure, how small it is broke me to pieces all over again! But they are going home! Soon! That is most important now. I have checked your transfer page and there is a photo of a crane and a truck. Maybe it is a an angle but that truck looks very long! And only one. I thought they will be travelling on two separate trucks. Are we waiting for a second truck? Knowing we are so close to the travel made me so calm. I am fully relaxed now. Just enjoying your news and waiting…xoxoxox
