Scott Arrived at Lady’s Zoo!

Scott arrived at Lady’s zoo this afternoon to get things set up for the transport container’s arrival tomorrow. He won’t be able to spend much time with Lady today. The day ends up being more about getting things set up, talking with her current staff, and trying to ensure things go as smoothly as possible.

  There’s clearly going to be a mix of sadness for the current care givers but elation at Lady’s prospect ahead after prolonged captivity and loneliness. What a hero you are Scott Blais ❤️??

Bless you Scott. It is so reassuring to have you make this trip with the elephants. I understand how sensitive it must be for the caretakers. Getting to know an elephant must be a wonderful experience and one that is hard to let go. Thank you for thinking of us at home living for ever morsel of information. You and Kat are amazing to include us so much. I have no doubt it can be a bit tedious at times. Love you and appreciate all you do.

Yes her space at this zoo is better than many we know of, including Kaavan’s in Islamabad, the indoor space they have created puts Kaavan’s to shame. As it does in the case of the Mendoza4. Can’t wait to see her at the Sanctuary. I hope the caregivers get the chance to see her there
