Rana’s Soft Smile

It may seem as though Rana stays in the background of our elephant group, but that isn’t true. She tends to be a bit more understated than those like Bambi, who has a big personality, or Mara, who enjoys being the center of attention. 

Rana is a much more subtle, quiet, and charming girl – but one who has a lot going on inside. Her personality can be complicated, but there are times when she has a softness and cuteness that is just melt-your-heart innocent. And, of course, she’s anything but innocent. But it’s undeniably endearing to see that she still has the ability to allow her inner child to come out and shine.

    Do Asian elephants ever have tusks

      males do, females do not. they have pseudo tusks called ‘tushes’, but not all of them have them. Rana does on her left side.
