Lack of steady internet has killed yet another broadcast. Sorry. Scott is still there and everything is fine, just not internet reception. As he mentioned before disappearing, Rana continues to do really well. The trip is going slower than they would like, but that’s how it goes sometimes. Since Rana is doing so well, it’s just something to accept and move on.
They are stopped for dinner now and plan on driving until past midnight. But as with everything, Rana will determine how it goes. When she’s ready to rest, it will be time to rest. She can sleep while the truck is moving, but most elephants seem to be able to achieve a much deeper level of sleep with the truck stopped. And since fatigue is a concern, we want them to be able to nap.
Hopefully we can post something brief tonight, but there was about 6 hours for them without reception. So it depends on where they end up and how far they get.

Rana is a champion! What a girl! What a team! Thank you all for making us feel like we are part of it. Positive thoughts and vibes all around! Onward!
