Lately, all of the girls are sharing time with Guillermina, each of them offering her something that she might need at a specific time or place. On this particular morning, she and Maia were sharing the yards closer to the barn while the “Powerpuff Girls” walked to the fence line in Yard 4 for breakfast – Bambi, Mara, then Rana. Rana headed right to the waterer, which is always nice and cold, and took several big drinks, not spilling a drop. She then let the caregivers know exactly what she wanted: food and soon! All three lovely girls ate quietly and it was a very calm morning.

I’m not entirely sure, but it does look a lot like elephant heaven on earth!

Wow!! It’s amazing to see Rana drink so purposefully and relish in its purity. Such a gorgeous girl with a tender personality. I love her so much. Thank you for sharing.

when a human would make such noise while drinking, or while eating, i would want to run far far away so i wouldn’t have to hear it or see it (misophonia is so much fun…not!)
but when animals eat or drink all loudly and with open mouths and all, it is the cutest sound and vision!
especially when elephants drink and eat, it is so cute.
so, instead of wanting to run, i would want to have a front row seat when elephants eat or drink 🙂

Yes – it’s very different with people than with animals!

She is mostly spending time with the other girls. She enjoys being near the pond lately.

I absolutely love these close-up videos. What a blessing to be able to stand next to Rana, to be near all the girls, from so far away. Thank you.
