Ramba’s Caravan Through Campo Verde

They were hoping to be here by now but there was a lot of construction on the road to Campo Verde. They’re wrapping up at their last stop, getting back on the road and hoping to arrive in the next 2-3 hours. This stretch is almost all dirt roads, so it’s slow.

At the pit stop Ramba drank and bathed. She ate the corn that one of the cars stopped to buy off of the side of the road, along with some watermelon, pineapple, and other fruits and veggies. Sweet grandma is ready to be on solid ground.

    Being old myself, I feel for Ramba. I know she is strong but has to be exhausted. We all await our newest sweetie to arrive home.

      Amen! This is such a joyous day and I know the team of loving dedicated Ramba care givers are beyond anxious to get sweet grandma Ramba home for good! This has been such a wonderful experience to watch unfold and I’m so happy I got to be part of this wonderful adventure! We all celebrate this day together for these beautiful Elephants to finally be free, God Bless you all and thank you!

    I wonder if Ramba will lie down tonight. Will she find some dust to “bathe” in. What will Rana and Maia “say” to Ramba. So so exciting!!!

    Oh I can’t contain my excitement! Any minute now Ramba could be on ESB soil!! It’s 5:56 pm Eastern Time in the states. Thank you for getting her home!!!
