Our Fences4Kenya Campaign is Fully Funded! Thank you!! ❤️

With deep gratitude and great excitement, we would like to announce that our Fences4Kenya campaign is FULLY FUNDED!!!!

Each of you has made this possible. It’s everything from your donations to telling your friends about us to sharing our posts and so much more – all of it has added up, and it has added up in a way that can never be quantified – it has added up to a new life for Kenya.  Thank you!!

We wanted to introduce you to what will soon be Kenya’s new home – this video only shows a small amount of her new habitat, but it is so much more than what she could even dream of right now. We began building the fences immediately after constructing the African Elephant Care Center, and now with the generosity of our supporters, we can complete them and bring Kenya home!  We can’t wait to bring her home, and we can’t wait to share her journey with you all.

Whew, it’s been a busy few months!

Over the past few months, our incredible supporters (all of YOU!) have

  • funded Ramba’s flight
  • brought Lady home
  • and now, have funded the completion of the first phase of fencing for the African elephant habitat

We have accomplished so much in such a short amount of time and this success sets us up to accomplish so much next year, including bringing Kenya to sanctuary.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, thank you, thank you! ❤️

Blimey! That is such great news, she just has to hang in there another couple of months and she will finally get what she deserves, how interesting this will be for her, and I hope we can help bring another African elephant soon and hopefully she will come to enjoy the company. I donated very little because its a diff time of year = Christmas, funds stretched to limit, so I will donate next year as I promised and it can go in the health care kitty. Very well done! Yes its been a rather busy year!!

What wonderful news to end the week! Soon Kenya will have so much more than a dirt pile to excite her and give her joy. I’m so looking forward to that moment when she will walk out of the container into her new life.

I thank everyone at Global Sanctuary for all you do for elephants, and also for us to keep our interest alive with all these little bits telling us what is happening and why you do things this way and so on. It keeps us happy knowing of the the good you do for these gentle giants. You allow us to see elephants through their eyes and from their point of view. I really think it makes us better people.
