Mara Races to Eat Before Bambi Arrives

Although we can typically find Mara, Bambi, and Rana together, sometimes one of them will wander off for some alone time. Recently, Mara slipped away from Bambi and Rana, as she occasionally does. Once she was done eating dinner, Bambi eventually began to wander around, looking for her friend. After a while, she found Mara in the bushes at the back of Yard 3.

In a normal situation, we would expect a lot of excited rumbling at the reunion of the two friends, but this time, things were a little different. Scott had just put some snacks down for Mara before Bambi arrived, and Mara was doing everything she could to shovel as much food into her mouth as quickly as she could. Although Mara wanted to join Bambi, her meal took priority for just a moment. It seemed like Mara wished she had two trunks so she could eat even faster. Bambi rushed over excitedly, but Mara was too busy eating to celebrate. Bambi began to share Mara’s food, but there is no doubt Mara was hurrying to devour as much as possible, before her uninvited guest finished it for her.

This post had me in fits of giggles. I could just picture the scene as it was so graphically written – ‘wished she had two trunks’….. gobble gobble, quick she’s nearly here…. 🙏🐘🤣😅😃🐘🙏❤️

This could really test a friendship. Hopefully, Mara is cool with it.

Mara definitely would have let Bambi know if she was unwelcome.
