Mara Enjoys Her Watermelon

Watching and hearing an elephant crunch on a watermelon is one of the most satisfying sounds we can think of. Miss Mara was happy to oblige us with some dainty-but-gratifying bites when she got her post-treatment produce recently. It’s music to our ears.

So impressive Mara!!! The way you hold the watermelon with your trunk, and chew on the other side of the melon. Looks like true contentment. 🐘❀️Thank you GSE. #sanctuaryheals
