Maia and Bambi Together

On this particular morning, Rana, Mara, Bambi, and Maia were in the yards nearest to the barn while the larger yards were being cleaned. Once that was completed, they all moved back into Yard 5 together and were very calm – perhaps even a little lazy. Warm days and cool nights generally mean that elephants get sleepy by mid-morning. 

In the video, you can see Maia and Bambi (between Mara and Rana) huddled together, perhaps deep in conversation. We’ll never know what they were communicating, but it was a nice moment seeing the two of them bonding, being affectionate, and “talking” in a way that only they understand.

    Yes well Bambi has been more calm since Guille and Pocha arrived. Bambi kind of goes frome one lady to another now, I think Mara told her to expand her horizons and they will all like Bambi. If she does create havoc 🐘🤫🫢
