One afternoon, Bambi, Mara, Rana, Maia, and Guille were in the yards near the barn, so some of the caregivers were curious to see if Lady could spend some time in Yard 4 to get a bit of new scenery. Scott said this was fine, as long as it was what Lady wanted. So, once the girls were back in Yard 4, with a little careful gate maneuvering, they were shifted into Yard 5 while Lady moved separately into Yard 4.
Lady headed directly for the pond to soak. Because the day was warm, a bath was in order and she took full advantage. We don’t know where she roamed during the evening, but the next morning she was grazing pondside. Once she decides she’s done with her Yard 4 excursion, her caregivers will give her the option to move back into Yard 5 or the male yard, whatever her preference might be.
