Lady’s Rescue is Funded! Thank you! ❤️

Thank you all!!!

We wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who donated, shared, liked, and helped raise the money needed for Lady’s rescue to Elephant Sanctuary Brazil. Within 24-hours, the funds were raised, and we were totally blown away. At this point, the fundraising total is $44,882. ?

Someone commented that the quick support was due to the ‘Ramba effect.’ We laughed, but there is definitely truth to the statement. Ramba epitomizes why we say that even if they have just a few days at the sanctuary, it’s worth it. Within the first few days, it was evident to most the healing that had already occurred for Ramba and how much she had changed. That is the power of sanctuary and why we exist. That people around the world can see that and want the same recovery for other captive elephants is a total blessing.

Each elephant has lessons to share if you listen and are open to their journey. Some become ambassadors for their species, and it seems like Ramba may be doing just that. We are grateful for our ‘old’ supporters who literally helped build this sanctuary from nothing. And we are also grateful for our ‘new’ supporters who will help build the herd and bring healing to many.

Thank you all for being part of this family, for loving on our elephants, and for believing that sanctuary is what every captive elephant deserves. ❤️❤️❤️

Oops, almost forgot, the funds that were raised over the goal will be used towards foot and medical care for Lady. She will require a lot of support, so every gift will go to good use.

    Fabulous news ! Thank you to all who are learning about elephants ? from Ramba’s story and that of her sisters Maia and RanaBug.
    Huge thank you too to social media that’s helped people get informed so quickly in cases like this. There are many elephant charities on Facebook who are also in need of funds for their rescues of severely abused, traumatised, and orphaned elephants ?.
    God bless them and you for helping them in their journeys of healing physically and mentally and the vital thing needed by isolated abused elephants in their recovery is the companionship of other elephants ?. ❤️??❤️??
