Lady’s Lovely Day

Even when it’s hot outside, Lady knows how to make the best of a day. No matter where she is, when she’s in the mood for fun, she takes advantage of it. At the moment, she’s still in the male Asian yard. She loves the palms there and there are plenty to choose from and that pond seems to be her favorite. 

But today, instead of finding one shady place and staying there for the hottest parts of the day, she was walking all around the yard; one moment she’d be in the front of the space and then the next, she’d been in the back section. She went to the pond a couple of times to cool off and had a couple of mini-parties at the water trough, spraying water and generally making a mess. She got fully wet and was clearly pleased about the situation. There’s something special about seeing Lady so cheerful that makes everyone lighthearted as well.

    It’s interesting to me that after all this time at sanctuary she is still quite content to spend all of her time alone. Bless you Lady.
