Lady Has a Refreshing Drink

Mara and Bambi can be charmingly demanding of getting drinks from the hose. While the other elephants are generally fine with using the water troughs, they also like a good watering from time to time. 

Here, Lady is enjoying a special drink from the hose. Near the beginning of the video, you can see her delicately “walk” her trunk from the top of her head around to her mouth to get a big sip. She also leans her head in for a little mini-bath. After all, who doesn’t love a nice fresh gulp of water on a long day?

    She may not be participating in the hen parties but it is obvious she is very happy!

    I love it. Lady is a beauty & knows how important it is to hydrate in warm weather. Love it. 🐘

    You sure can tell Lady is lovin life right there her tail is waggin ears a flappin mouth wide open with her trunk gettin even more yummy water and i think I also heard some low sweet happy rumbles too? 💞🐘🥰

    I’m in awe of Ladybug she seems to have come such a long way in confidence and curiosity.
    The 1st year was very difficult for her but the 2nd she started coming out of her shell a little, now she is blossoming in leaps and bounds.
    We know she will never be fully confident enough to mingle with the herd but she at least has the confidence to come close and watch the goings on of the silly girls and spy on the new arrivals.
    For Lady life is now full of stimulation and exciting happenings, she is just perfect and I love her to the moon and back ❤️🐘❤️
