Lady and Her Juicy Watermelon

Watermelon is a year-round treat here at Elephant Sanctuary Brazil. And, when it comes to videos, there is little more satisfying than watching an elephant crunch down on a juicy fruit or vegetable. 

Of course, elephants eat on their own time, so sometimes there can be a great amount of anticipation when you’re watching and waiting for them to take that second (or third) bite. Lady doesn’t leave us hanging here; after her first bite, she gracefully takes a moment and then rewards us with another juicy, delicate, elephant-sized nibble.

    At the end, watching her eyes, you could really sense the enjoyment she was getting out of it! Great video. Thank you as always.
