Our ongoing series on how to identify each elephant continues this week with Guillermina. As our newest elephant, she can occasionally be difficult to identify, especially when she’s near Maia – as they both share some similar characteristics.
Since Guille is beginning to slim down now, her round physique won’t necessarily be a good identifying detail for much longer. In videos, you can likely tell that she’s very fast and can cross large areas of land in no time at all. Her youthful energy comes across in most things she does, as she continues to learn and change.
Make sure to check out Bambi and Lady’s identification posts from past weeks!

February 6, 2023 at 3:25 pmOne of my favourite elephant actions is the back leg side kick they give large balls and other toys! ( 😂) I’ve often imagined Guille would be a good side kicker!
