Guillermina Splashing – A Little Bonus Video

A few days ago, we shared a video of Bambi watching Guillermina in the pond, almost looking over her as “the adult in the room.” Guille takes swims regularly these days and is learning to let loose and splash away. We thought you’d enjoy a little bonus footage of Guillermina having a ball, all by herself, seemingly without a care in the world. In this video, Pocha is keeping an eye on her.

I want to just sit and watch this video all day, to immerse myself in the feelings of peace, joy, and relaxation it evokes … Thank you so much for making this life possible for Pocha and Guillermina, and all of the girls.

God bless you for giving her a better life she couldn’t do this 6mos ago. You have given her a rebirth and we can see that as she splashes in the water

It is thrilling to watch Guillermina’s pure joy splashing in the pond with Mom watching, something neither one could do for decades being confined to their cement prison.
Thank you GSE for saving them.

Mama Pocha is just relaxing and taking it all in. Thanks for taking such good care of these 2 new gals. They are starting to expand their horizons show their fears are calming and they trust and love their surroundings. Wonderful to see the progression!

Guillie gets to be a kid for the first time in her life!!! She may have some ” isolation edges” that will now br rounded by everything sanctuary has to offer! It is such an honor to watch her transform!

Such a silly girl! Splish, splash, showing everyone what elephant fun is all about at the sanctuary. These two have come so far in such a short period of time. Much more to learn, but it’s so uplifting seeing how well they are doing.

So glad Guillermina is finally enjoying her time in the pond. Also that she is so comfortable with Bambi watching over her.
Freedom is the key to her coming out of her shell.
Thank you for giving this to her & Pocha. They’re at their best with girls.

From a mother’s point of view, I can relate to Pocha’s joy, peace and happiness watching her daughter enjoy splashing around happily without a care for the very first time. #sanctuaryheals Thank you GSE.

This is just so wonderful. It must give all of the people at the sanctuary a great deal of satisfaction and joy, of course, to see the elephants in this kind of setting, knowing that you made this possible. Fantastic!

How far they have both come, unsurprisingly really with your care and these beautiful surroundings, the birdsong, the peace. Therapeutic little video for me never mind these girls, thank you and thank you to all the supporters who made this happen!
