The girls continue to do well. Today we did some training with Maia and Guida, as a way to give them the extra produce they seem to be craving. The funny thing with Guida is she has never been that into training, she likes things on her own terms. It’s part of why we love her. Compound that with not being very food motivated and you get an elephant that after a few minutes decides she would rather graze than have to ‘work’ for food. And it’s her choice, so that’s just how it goes. Today she was actually better, mostly because she wanted the fruits and veggies, but we’ll take it. She enjoyed the extra goodies, but in general, she prefers to be the one training her humans.
