Finding Guida

It can be hard to understand what it’s like finding an elephant at meal time. Sometimes it’s very easy and other times it takes a little bit. This was dinner feed. Maia had already been fed, she could be seen from the hilltop. Guida was a bit harder, but Scott got lucky and stopped to listen in her vicinity.

Often you see something that is the wrong density or color, or a movement out of the corner of your eye, while other times they are standing clearly in front of you. What is nice is that they have the space to get lost if they so choose. It just gives us practice at elephant spotting.

That grey color, God designed so they could protect themselves from predators! Once she heard Scott’s tractor and his voice she knew everything was ok!!
