This is the day Lady will arrive at sanctuary, well, she’ll arrive at night. As many of you know, the truck broke down last night. All of the very sweet mechanics that came to help in the middle of the night, couldn’t guarantee if the truck was fixed, that it would make it to sanctuary. So everyone got on their phones until we had a crane and another truck set up for 5 AM the next morning.
It now looks like possibly a 7 pm EST arrival, but we’ll know more at the last stop. We are getting conflicting reports about the condition of the road between where they are now and Campo Verde. And there is no cell reception, so our only and final update will come in 3-4 hours. The road condition added about 3 hours to Ramba’s arrival time, so 7 pm is definitely a very rough estimate for now.
Lady is doing great. Scott began to mention a video he sent me before they lost connection, you can see that video below. Still eating and drinking well, which makes everyone happy. Bright and alert, but I’m guessing like everyone else, ready to finally be home.

ADDITIONAL VIDEO
This is the video that Scott started to mention before the live feed cut out. He sent it to me but wasn’t sure if I had shared it yet. It was taken around noon EST today at the last stop. The team had cut a litte fresh grass, some bamboo, banana leaves and sugar cane, which Lady seemed to thoroughly enjoy. She continues to eat and drink well and has settled back in emotionally now that they are back on the road.
We’ll try for another update at the last stop before the sanctuary, in a few hours.
